I slept long and hard last night. Biggie first suggested I get up at 5:45. I told him to go pound sand. And then again at 6:30. Here I got mean. I told Alexa Good Morning which turns off the ceiling fan and turns on all the lights and gives Biggie hope. But I rolled over and gave it another hour.

Now it's 9 and I'm still enjoying my coffee and considering getting dressed.

I finally found a cat toy they have zero interest in. I've wanted to get this for a while and I finally found one really marked down and got it a week or so ago. It arrived yesterday. They sniffed around it and got in and out and then ignored it. Maybe they will change their minds. I don't mind how it looks. Probably it will live under the ladder.



Today I'll watch the baseball game in the quiet of my living room and crochet.

But, first, I think I'll go over to the Japanese grocery and get some lunch and dinner. I'll go to the fancy market tomorrow to get meals for the week. But, today, I'll keep it simple.

Remember, tomorrow is a holiday, so it'll be weekend crowded.

yeahbutt, at Met Market, generally, they have the most/best/freshest prepared foods out when they expect a crowd so it's a balance between crowd and great selection... That said, I might do the Mercer Island one tomorrow...

Uwajimaya's much the same and it's always packed on Sundays. But, I'm going to take my patience with me.

Between Pride and Solstice, I decided it wasn't even worth going far from home on my side of the city. I got so burnt out on crowds from working at Pike Place.

yesterday we had baseball and country music fans over here. today is just baseball and the usual suburbs come in on Sundays to the ID but that's not even that much of a thing any more.
