So this couple two seats down from me Friday night were talking with their friends in the next row about where to go after the game. They settled on a spot and the friend said "you driving?" The guy answered "nah, we uber everywhere."

I have questions. So I started asking. He said that they Uber so they can drink. "If I have even a glass of wine, I'm not going to chance it. It maybe wimpy but I don't care. I once ubered home from my neighbor's a quarter mile away. Totally worth it."

But, my questions were really how do you get an Uber after a big event, like a Mariners game? They said that if you wait 10 minutes after the end, it's easy.

Because of their politics and tacky hiring/operating tactics, I've never Ubered. But, I've Lyfted. I plan on Lyfting after that concert in October - especially now that I know the trick.

I love that there is at least one couple who Ubers instead of drinking and driving.

Wow, how do they afford that all the time?! My two experiences (Dallas and Chicago) were like $35 each for 20 minutes!

I won't have more than one drink if I'm driving, so we always Uber if we're going out for drinks. It's smart, though I will say there's a good chance we caught COVID in an Uber. Don't be shy about asking to open the windows if you want to make it safer. :)
