Discovery!

susandennisI took the scooter up to Uwjimaya and got four meals - I only needed two but I couldn't decide. Two can freeze. On the way home, I decided to go the long way just for sightseeing purposes.
Next to the only coffee shop left in the neighborhood, is a new shop ... a vintage shop that is fascinating and very well done. They have vintage audio stuff and sewing machines and suitcases and furniture and clothes and rugs... the shop is just lovely and very welcoming. I looked around and came very close to buying a quilt which I do not need. I also specifically dd not look at the sports clothing rack. I do not need more Mariner shirts.
When I got home, I investigated and discovered that they have been around for a while - as pop ups at various street markets and on instagram and have a nice following. The store - which opened only yesterday - has been a lifelong dream. The name of the shop is The Lemon Grove. Because the family that owns it is named Lemon!
Anyway, the good news is... it's a nice walking distance for me from here. 2 blocks and a little uphill. AND that kind of shop is fun to visit since the inventory is always changing.
