susandennisThere are four different ticket resellers (probably more but the core is four) - Gametime, Stubhub, Seatgeek and Vividseats. All have Mariner tickets for sale. Lots of people go there looking for better prices than the Mariners charge. In my case, I go for Press Club. The Mariners have no more Press Club tickets, so these four sites are really the only vendors.
I've bought from the first three before but never from VividSeats. Until today.
A while back I bought two seats for my New Zealand friends when they said they wanted to go to a game while they were here. I already had a Press Club ticket to that game but I got them good seats nearby. Then, the more I thought about it, the more I realize that was silly. Then I met Matt, the guy who owns the seats next to mine and he said he would sell me two.
And then I never heard from him. I'm sure he'll clock in at some point but...
Today, on Vividseats, I found two seats in the Press Club, very near mine, at a VERY good price - less than face value, actually and I bought them. Then I listed the two that I had bought before on Seatgeek. The whole process was kind of full of potholes and took a couple of hours but now it's done and all is good. If the non Press Club seats don't sell, I'll donate them to that Vettix thing.
But, at least now I can stop worrying about it all.
Oh and I got my water back in the kitchen. All is cool.
