I gave my Amazon password to my friend, Scott (New Zealand) so that he and Julie can shop in the US easily and have stuff sent here. I did this a while back and totally forgot about it.

So, of course, today I get an email that someone tried to log in but couldn't because they didn't have the secret code sent to my phone. It's been forever since I changed the password. I should so I did. Still not thinking of Scott, I decided to go all cybersecurity and went to the amazon site and clicked on Log Me Out Of Everything.

DO NOT DO THAT. BAD mistake.

I almost lost my Github subscription. Every one of my echos (all four of them) checked right out. Setting up one is not too fiddly. Setting up four is a major PIA.

Plus, in the confusion, I actually had to reset the password three times.

There is an hour of my life I will not see again.

And then I get a note from Scott saying he needs the code. SIGH. Poor Scott and Julie.

Ok, so now we have a plan. But ugh. I thought changing my Google password was a pain compared to Amazon, Google's a walk in the park.

And people wonder why so many people have password as their password.

And why doesn't the dryer start automatically??? I put the wet clothes in there and shut the door. Why would I do that if I didn't want dry clothes??

Down side of using the white recliner... Julio thinks under it is a great place to hide. There's plenty of room so he doesn't get snagged by the mechanics but he does get trapped. I just need to make sure I know where everyone is. (right now the web cam says they are in their bedroom aka back of the closet)

Oh, thanks for taking one for the team. I would not have considered that either.

I'm visiting my mom and one of her cats likes to hide in the recliner, too! What is it with cats finding the most dangerous possible cozy spots?
