Yep. Costco. I am out of bacon. So it's time for a trip. I like their cooked shrimp for a snack, pasta and salads. I freeze it in servings. And I thawed my last one yesterday for my salad today. So that's the plan. But, it's still very early because Biggie.

I need a CPAP machine but I do not have the patience required for getting one or the tolerance for using it so I make do with nose strips and nose vents. The strips pull the skin off my nose but twice now, Biggie has eaten a vent and had to have it surgically removed. So I try to use them sparingly and carefully.

This morning, he tried to wake me up at 5:30. My usual response to this is to throw the covers over my head and tell him to go pound sand. But, this morning, I realized my nose vent was not in my nose. I sprang out of bed and went to lay out the cats' breakfast to distract them, and then tore into my bed. I removed and shook out all the bedding. I raised the top of the bed (it's an adjustable) and got out the flashlight. I looked all over and then BAM! found it near my feet. Never have I been so glad to see anything. WHEW. That will wake you up in a hurry.

Except not all the way. I went into the coffee maker and pulled out the pod and grabbed a new one and, apparently from the ensuing mess, put the old one back in and turned it on. One cup later, I was cleaning grounds out of everywhere.

But it's now nearly 9 and everything has been smooth sailing for a few hours now so maybe this day is all clear.

My watch has suddenly started draining the battery rapidly. I have not installed anything new or set anything differently. So weird. I think I'm going to have to factory reset it which is a major PIA but having a watch on the charger as opposed to my wrist kinda makes the watch not so functional, ya know?

I finished all the bits to the main part of my crocheted sweater last night. Now the joining which is tedious and unfun.

I actually got on the treadmill this morning. It was not fabulous. I only did half of the usual. I wish I didn't hate exercise so much. At least I still love my Japanese 3 minutes which I think I'll do right now.

Joining is the worst part of any crochet project. I've got one right next to me, 85% finished but I'm procrastinating about crocheting all of the pieces together.

Man, I'd freak out if I'd lost something that cost big money to have removed from a pet's stomach!

Thank God when we had Rosie she was not interested in anything that wasn't actually food.

My Fitbit gets super battery hungry when I track pulse oxygen, so I’ve stopped doing that.

Or charge it every day for a half hour and enjoy the numbers. :)

Ooof! Ive become addicted to seeing my sleep data, so I charge when I start getting ready for bed, and then again before I get in the shower in the morning. My Fitbit versa is five? So the battery won’t make two days without charging anymore; it used to do almost six days.

When I was growing up my mother used to knit and sew not because she enjoyed it but because it was cheaper than buying clothes then. She is far too impatient for handicrafts and I grew up to the sound of swearing coming from the sewing room. As for sewing up knitwear, I ended up doing it for her after I had unpicked an arm sewn to the body once too often. Lucky for me, I seem to be the only person in the world who doesn't mind doing it. Now if only I was a better knitter in the first place. I've had to unravel my current sweater three times as the front and back keep coming out different lengths.
