Fur flying

susandennisJulio and Biggie got into a big fight yesterday. Fur was flying - literally. I picked up a half dozen tufts off the carpet when it was over. But, is it over? There has not been a lot of cuddling since. Biggie slept in the sewing room last night and Julio slept in the closet. This morning they have come together a couple of times for the usual tussle but I wonder if there is not some grudge holding going on.
Last night's Mariners adventure was nice and not. It was fun to see everyone again. Ray, my regular seat neighbor, who has been pretty standoffish was downright chatty last night and stayed to the end which is not his usual MO. But, the couple on he other side of him had either sold or given their tickets away to a couple of yahoos who got increasingly offensive as the night went on. The ushers even handed them a warning but they needed to have handed them a map on how to get the fuck out of there. They did finally leave in the 9th inning.
Next time, I'm going to pull out my bitchy old lady card and play it. There's a number you can text to alert the Mariners for problems like this. I'm hoping that the info is then relayed to the closet usher who boots the offenders. I thought about doing that last night BUT I didn't want to cause a problem for the couple who usually sit there. The rules of the club/park are, if you transfer your tickets to a scafflaw, you endanger your chances of ever buying them again.
These guys last night just thought they were adorable with their loud references to the umpire being on the rag (seriously, in 10 words or less, see if you can offend as many people/groups as possible), etc. Ugh. At least chances of their sitting there again are tiny slim.
And... the Mariners lost in exta innings because in one half inning their offense was beyond miserable and in the next, their defense sucked donkey eggs. So even though the yahoos were gone, things did not get better.
Today is a day game. I feel for the staff who had to stay late and then go back early this morning.
My next game is Friday which is kind of soon enough. Again, bad team, easier to get good tickets.
I did not get started on my dusting project yesterday so that's on tap for today. And watching/listening to the ballgame. I have more than a week's worth of meals in the freezer which need to be eaten. I may need some produce but I can probably get by without.
My watch, after the other day's huge battery drain, has now gone back to normal. Weird, but fine by me.yshaloo recommended some OrthoFeet slippers I'd looked at several times but never tried. I looked at them on amazon again and then went to the OrthoFeet site for more info. There I discovered they were having a 4th of July sale and offered me 15% off that so, in total, nearly $30 off the amazon price. So... Ordered.
Oh, Biggie and Julio are playing together like normal so I guess they got their argument sorted.
