So, the first third of the house is done. Stuff tossed or put away, every single surface wiped/dusted (even the tops of picture frames and the baseboards). Also ended up doing the bathrooms. Those rugs are in the wash now.
I have two tablets that have charging cables that fall out. They have been driving me nuts for months. Both are plugged into to hard to reach places so easy to put off. Today I did it. Replaced them both and now they are snug once more.
Tossed out a bunch pf stuff and took it right down to the dumpsers.
Now it's lunch time.
I forgot to mention my Costco find. I've been getting their shrimp cocktail - boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce. I take off the tails and freeze it in individual servings. I use it in salads, with pasta or just with the sauce.
They have two kinds of shrimp. The kind I get and then some that are seasoned. I tried those this time. HOLY MOLEY! What a wonderful option. They are seasoned in oil and garlic and other stuff and are just delicious. And the tails are already off. So easier to pack. $12 worth gave me four servings.
This is absolutely now in my regular Costco rotation.
Which reminds me I need to do the bacon. The bacon is cooked and comes refrigerated. I freeze it and then break it into the slices and store the frozen slices in a giant plastic bag. I can reach in and grab one or 10 - whatever I need. They nuke to a lovely crisp. I need to get the stuff I bought Monday into their bag.
Then lunch Then baseball
