I have developed this new, unwelcome thing... when I first get out of bed in the morning, my back from my crotch to my shoulders hurts like a MF. I can barely move but, because I have to pee, I do move and once I do, it's like 95% better. So weird. And unpleasant. Every morning.

I wonder if it's because I've not been treadmilling. In truth, my treadmill experience is so lame that I cannot believe my back would miss it. I go very slowly and I hold on to the front of the treadmill so I don't fall off. So, basically, it's 22 minutes of slowly scissoring my legs.

I guess I'll get back with the program for the next few mornings and see if that makes a difference.

I have the next third of the house to clean today. But, really, that's the only thing on the agenda. There isn't even a baseball game today.

I'm still watching Harlow (Hulu). There are three seasons and season one led me right to season two so now I'm stuck. It's ok. I'm enjoying it.

I'm still reading Take Off by Joseph Reid. It's still not that good and I still can't stop. So weird.

It's nearly mid year. I started two new things in January.

A One Line A Day book. I've been writing a sentence or two every night and haven't missed a night. I also note the temperature in my bedroom every night. I feel like I need cold to sleep well and knowing it's cold is part of the process. Plus I can and do compare. It's a five year book. It amuses me that I would start a 5 year book at age 74. I do not expect to live 4.5 more years but if I do...

And I started taking videos of Biggie and Julio together. One second every day. I have not missed a day but there have been many when I wondered if today was they day I'd miss the opportunity to get my shot. Usually I have it by 9 but so far today, they have been indulging in their individual interests. I have time yet today. I will likely publish a June version and a six month version. But the goal is a year of one second a day of these two.

Ok. Time to Taiso and then Treadmill. T and T

The One Line a Day book is so cool! I just ordered it from Amazon right now using this link. If I start it now and do a good job, it might be something fun for my kids to read when I die! I mean, I'd have fun looking back also, but my mind went more to them when I saw this. Neat, thanks for posting!

Circling back to this- I received my pretty line a day journal and I've been writing in it faithfully ever since. Yay!

I bought myself one of those 5 year books! Unfortunately I did a terrible job keeping up with it.

I believe walking slowly can actually work muscles more, as you're not getting the boost from momentum and have to do all the work yourself.

Damn, I can't remember the title now but years ago I read a book where this woman was retiring and at her retirement party they gave her a 5-year diary. She had intended to kill herself but instead, she felt obliged to fill out this diary.
EDIT: It was called A five-year sentence by Bernice Rubens
