Another game day

susandennisI have a ticket to tonight's game. The good news is it's another night in the luxury or the Press Club. The bad news is the Mariners are playing and while they are still the only team to never even play in the World Series, they do have their good stretches. This is not one of them. They hit bottom a couple of weeks ago and then went on to find the bottom's basement. Their last game was the worst yet. The good news is it's fireworks night. The bad news is that it's Patriotic Fire Works Night. As patriotism has come to align itself with right winged fanatical evangelistic, narrow minded, hateful people, patriotic music has taken on a smelly stench for me. I do not love this country right now. But, maybe it won't be so bad. At least the food will be great.
To make sure it's dark for the fireworks the game is knocked back 30 mins. I'll be leaving here about 4:40 ish and it doesn't looks like it will be uncomfortably hot. I wore one layer too many the other night so tonight I'll be better prepared.
I do need to go plug in my scooter before too much of the day gets gone.
mdlbear reminded me to be grateful for good air and I sure am. Just watching the air in the east on the news makes me cough. I know our time will come, I just hope we get a few more weeks of breathing before it does.
The cats have a second litter box that they abandoned months ago. It's in a lovely cabinet. That's the bit I moved yesterday. I moved it into the hallway where it is not in the way of anything but does look kind of odd. Last night, as I was going to bed, I was struck by the lightbulb of genious.
When they remove the polls holding up the roof on my terrace and I can get to it again, I'm going to move that litter cabinet out to the terrace! I was going to buy one for the terrace but why? The one I have will work fine. I can use it for storage, it will look nice and be out of the hallway. So many problems solved.
Today's Adventures In Dusting The Whole House will be limited to the shelves just outside the kitchen. All the stuff needs to come off and the shelves cleaned and the stuff put back in a way more orderly fashion. So that's what I will do.
I see Dreamwidth is finally beefing up the beta entry page so I'm back trying it again. I do like it way better but it just needs a thing or two that are actually listed in the next upgrade so yeah.
Time now to get going. Sadly, I woke up this morning without nearly the back pain of the past couple of days. This means it's back to the fucking treadmill. Damn. But, I'm not giving up my taiso so now I have two exercise things. This is a sad state of affairs.
