COVID strikes again

NOT ME. But, my friend, Scott just tested positive. He and Julie are my friends from New Zealand. They are in Colorado now and are set to be here Tuesday. And bring their COVID with them. So far, she's testing negative and I hope that keeps up so that at least I can see her. He's going to have to hang in the hotel room until he fails a test. Sigh.

What a bummer.

But at least they booked two Seattle legs to their trip so I'll get to see him eventually.

This trip replaces the one they had locked and loaded for July of 2020. COVID - what a buzz kill!

What a bummer! I hope your friend feels better soon and you get to see them before they head back to the other side of the world.

At least so far it's only a sore throat but he's had it for several days so I suspect she's not going to get off free. Sigh.

Hopefully she wont catch it! When I had Covid, my husband did not catch it from me. Of course, we were in a house and completely distancing once I tested positive for it, but I was most likely contagious before we knew.
