When I got up to go to bed last night, my back and hips were killing me. They hurt so much it was making my stomach ache. I finally got to sleep and slept ok but this morning woke up all hurty again but this time no stomach issues. I finally took some ibuprofen that has now kicked in and I feel better.

I'm sure it's the result of my being out of shape and my not moving enough. And, yet, the idea of moving still does not appeal. Sigh. But, something's gotta give. I think it's going to be hall walking. At least every two hours. The hall is long. Going from one end to the other and back, I think is about 1/3 of a mile.

Ok just did my 8 am hall walk. I'll do it again about 10. Then I'll be at the game. I actually get a fair amount of get up and walk at the game. I usually get up every other inning or so. The space is such that I can get something from the bar or just walk around and still see and hear all the action.

Hopefully this will fix the problem. This is a bad hurt and I'm over it already.

Also, it's quite surprising how many people get the Sunday newspaper delivered still. Kind of makes me want to, too. And then I think of more trash to toss and why when I get it and read it online? On my phone, computer or tablet. So, nope.

Yesterday, I went through the closet and said goodbye to 10 hangers worth of stuff. It's now all in bags for the Goodwill. I think maybe I'll wrestle them down to the car this morning so I don't have to look at them and they will be ready to drop off.

But, first I need to shower and get game ready. Please don't let it be another disaster. It's the last home game before the All Star break and it would be so great to have it not end in another horrible defeat.

I've been getting the daily Wall Street Journal and was just thinking about getting the Sunday Seattle paper since the WSJ doesn't do a Sunday paper. Sometimes they don't even do a Monday paper if it's a holiday and the markets are closed. If nothing else the Seattle Times is great material for washing windows. Leaves no streaks or fluff... all the fluff is in the written content :b

We used to get the Sunday Washington Post to a) get the weekly coupons; and b) support the local paper. Then the coupon offerings got smaller and smaller, and the Post started wanting to charge a lot more for home delivery, so I dumped it in favor of a free online subscription through work.

We get the Boston Globe seven days a week, and in the summer the Gloucester Daily Times four days a week (they only publish on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday). We like to read the paper, on paper, with breakfast. But then we're old-fashioned in a lot of ways.

We don't get the local rag... we get the flyers but not the actual paper. I prefer to do mine online as well.
