susandennisLast night and this morning I really felt terrible. For a bit, early this morning, I considered not even going to the game.
But, by the time I was actually on the way to the game, I realized that i no longer felt terrible. Nothing ached. Nothing hurt. I felt fine. And I still do. Weirder than weird. I did not eat myself stupid which helped. The Sunday buffets are always the best ones so I was surprised at myself.
I ran into Wayne in the line to get in. He said he was in the Diamond Club today. Are you nuts? You are going to fry your ass off down there. I think Wayne is nuts anyway. And I did watch him fry his ass off.
The other team - the one with the best record in baseball - took an early giant lead. One of their players ran into one of our players in another inning. The player of ours that he ran into is as solid as you get (whether the stone hits the pitcher or the pitcher hits the stone, it's going to be bad for the pitcher). The other player came out of the game. Then we caught up to their lead and it was tied for several innings. Then we had the bases loaded and they hit our batter so we took the lead and won the game. It was really quite the game.
Now I am going to get something to drink and turn on the news and see what happened today.
I did get up about every 3 or 4 innings and walk around.

Also, quite strangely, yours was not the only game yesterday that was decided by a bases-loaded hit batter; the Orioles beat the Twins in similar fashion.
