susandennisThis morning, I woke up minutes before Biggie decided it was time for me to get up. I had coffee and laid out the cat breakfast and did a little internetting and then got into my swim suit and went off to the pool.
It's Monday - lately people are working in the office Tues/Wed/Thurs - so Monday traffic. I left here at 6:45 and was in the water by 7:05. I swam 1000 yards in 38 minutes. I was back on the road at 8 and took the surface street because the highway looked clogged. I was back home by 8:15.
I'll be interested to see how this differs on other days but unless it's way out of whack from this, I'm happy. If I can go when it suits me, rather than having to get up earlier or wait until later, I'm liable to go more often. There was an open lane when I got to the pool and I had it to myself for the entire swim.
Julio, my little water lover, is mad there was no shower here this morning but I hung my wet suit in the shower and now he's in there happily watching the drops.
I have absolutely nothing on the agenda today. The laundry is done. I have meals in the fridge. No one is after me for anything and I have nothing due. And no baseball and no company. And I don't have to treadmill because I swam. Perfect day.
TV and Crochet or read or whatever. But, first I need to get dressed. I threw an oversized knit dress over my suit this morning and then over my naked body to get home. I do need to get dressed if only to be comfortable.
