I did go out and check out the action. My timing could not have been better. I ran into several ushers from the Press Club on their way to work the game.

The first one was Jodie who really is my favorite. She usually does greeting duties and table assignments at the Press Club. She said she worked the tunnel last night and got to meet all the players and their families and it was fab. Tonight she's working Guest Services. She promised she'd remember everything and tell me.

Then I ran into Dave who is an usher/host at the Press Club. He's working the tunnel today and worked the Diamond Club last night.

Then I ran into three more - but only to wave at. But, what fun!



There was a queue to photo with the giant baseball. In the back you can see a female statue of liberty soccer player. I didn't quite get that but she was also a big picture draw.

totally makes sense to plop that in the middle of MLB all stars but whatever. maybe they are going to leave it there which would be cool. thanks for the link!

The Mariners are third in the ALW. I just googled it. My Yankees are #4 in the ALE. The stupid Jays are ahead. *pouts*

It seems that the Yankees are now in the situation where they do pretty well when Judge is healthy and pretty badly when he isn't. This is not a good situation for a team to be in, which of course inspires Schadenfreude in this Red Sox fan (we need all the joy we can get).
