I suspected that Fridays might be easier traffic wize. And my suspicions were confirmed. Even back in the pre-covd days, Fridays were always easier. Today's traffic was about like Saturdays'.

So, after a week, I am now confident that traffic is not going to keep me from enjoying the pool pretty much any time I want to go.

And, so far, it seems like I enjoy it more than I did the day before. My back is so very sore when I get up in the morning and so very not sore when I get home from the pool. It's like magic.

Today is laundry. My last hit-my-head-on-the-dryer-door and make multiple trips back to switch from washer to dryer experience. After today, my dirty clothes will go into my new washer/dryer.

Also today I need to shore up my Spotify playlists. I have a little bitty gadget that tells me how many laps/how much time/how fast I am going every 4 laps and the rest of the time, it plays music. I download playlists from Spotify. In March of 2020, I let my Spotify account expire and last night re-upped it. Since I mainly listen to old stuff, my playlists aren't that out of date but they need some love.

It's not hot like the rest of the country hot here but the sun is out in full bake and it's hotter than I like so I'm not going outside. No need to anyway.

And I need to wash the shower. It's amazing how filthy it gets when it's not used. Julio drags and tracks all kinds of crap in there.

Oh! My New Zealand friends are in Alaska. Julie said more than once that all she wants to do is see a Moose. The rest will be gravy, if she gets to see her moose. Last night I got a rare Julie email (she rarely sends or reads email), with a photo of a moose in the wild. She got to see one. I'm so delighted for her. They come back here Sunday and stay all week.

if all you want is music, search amazon for mp3 players for swimming. there are a lot of different ones that are way cheaper.

if you want to download Spotify or other streaming playlists (rather than mp3's you own) then Delphin is probably better. also it will count the laps for you.

and we have one shower that doesn't get used and our Duckie makes it dirty as all hell somehow too. cats are truly amazing anti-brooms

I don't think we saw any moose in Alaska, but I'm pretty sure I've seen one somewhere – Maine, maybe? We did get to see a bear or two, from a distance.

What I want to see in Alaska is Northern lights. But that will require going there when it is cold. (Yes, there were supposedly Northern lights visible ion New England last Thursday, but it was cloudy here.)
