Plenty of time

susandennisThe Biggie alarm went off a little early this morning which was fine. I went to the pool about 6:30. It was not at all crowded until just as I finished up. And the traffic home was light enough to take the highway.
My bed is reporting denigrated sleep numbers since I started swimming. Not horrible 80-85 instead of 88-95 but, interestingly, Fitbit's sleep numbers are steady or up a bit. I think I'm sleeping fine. Except I did dream that Biggie was on my shoulder nuzzling my neck but when I looked, it wasn't him at all but some rando cat from across the hall. Weird.
In March, I contacted a law firm for new death planning docs. I was not in any particular hurry but also told them I was interested in getting it all done fairly quickly. They said fine. They didn't mean fine. They meant, we'll do it on our timetable which is tortoise slow. Today I got an email that the physical documents (signed last month) were ready - I gather they were sent off to be blessed by the pope or something - and confirming their plan which was to send them to me after I had requested and been told they will be sent to my brother. We got all that fixed and they said the PDFs will be available soon. And they still owe me $150 from the retainer I paid which was more than their charges.
I totally get why Aretha Franklin scribbled our her will and stuffed it in the sofa.
I'm off today with the Kiwi's to shop. Best Buy and Penney's and Target and Walmart for starters. And then dinner tonight with my friend, Frank, at a french place I've never tried.
Its cloudy and cool. Perfect.
