I have had a few Fitbits. I know I gave one to my brother but I thought I still had one somewhere. So, when my Google Pixel watch died this afternoon, I went looking. Found it. It took a while to figure out which model it was but it's been sitting off and idle for more than a year and still has 100% charge!

I scratched the front slightly which is why I didn't sell it. But, I'd totally forgotten how much I liked this one. It's a Versa 2 and is all set up and working fine. The very expensive Google Pixel watch is now in a drawer.

The Google help person in chat, after asking me a million questions, most twice, said she had to escalate and I'd likely hear in a week. Are you fucking kidding me? I guess not. They will eventually replace it but probably not before I have to send this one back so a couple of weeks.

By that time, I could really fall in re-love with this Versa. Meanwhile, I fired Steve from A/C filter duty. I still love that he offered. So nice, but Tija says she really wants to do it in lieu of rent. So. okdokey.

I had missed this entry. Love that Tija is on filter duty. What a great trade and neither side will feel guilty or in debt.

Also glad you are back on Sense so I can ask questions. There are always questions.

Yeah the Tija thing is golden. She does have a fairly severe allergy to cats but promises to drug up first. The trade is a good one.

And oh do I love the Sense 2. A lot and really a lot more than that doofy Pixel watch.

And as long as I'm copying you, my colorful metal mesh band and stand up charger will arrive today :)

And... to circle back... the mesh band I ordered was a total fail. I could not get both sides locked in sufficiently to ensure it wouldn't let the watch go. So it goes back.
