Do it yourself, dummy

The callbox on our building has been broken for weeks. First it was the phone line but the phone company fixed that. No telling what it is now but it is even more broken. When it first broke, I asked the building manager to put a sign on the call box explaining and he did immediately. But that was weeks ago.

The management company (building manager, who is out on sick leave's boss) sends out a 'we're working on it and it will be fixed tomorrow' email every few days to a week. Still broken and now the signs look like trash. At his last email, I asked him to please put up new signs so we don't look so trashy. He did not. This morning I went down to check and see if there was any change - there was not and got pissed off about the ripped and torn and dirty signs.

Well, dodo, you could go up and print off new ones and replace them. So I did! I am no longer pissed off about the signs. Still annoyed about its being broken tho.

I did get into the sewing room and got half done with my project. The easy part is left Tomorrow maybe.

I made and ate a really inferior BLT for lunch. Substandard lettuce, substandard tomato (which looked so good and promising) but ok bacon and bread.

I'm in between tv series right now and kind of filling in with the latest season of Project Runway. I watched the first bunch of years and then got really tired of it and quit. But, I'm enjoying this season and now can go back and watch some of the other seasons maybe. It's a nice 'i have 30-45 mins to kill' filler. Or as my brother would say, palate cleanser.

But, I need to find some meat.I have a list of 'watch next' guess I could check that - doh!

I've seen every season of Project Runway except 2 and 5. I desperately need to see season 3 again, it's so good.

This is my first season with Christian as Tim Gunn and I am shocked to hear myself say, he's a better Tim Gunn than Tim Gunn was!! Also i'm loving how well these folks all work together and that whole bitch slapping requirement appears to be gone. It's a way more enjoyable show than before.
