I am a genius - also must stop shopping

susandennisAll afternoon, I've been pausing the TV and shopping. I find something I cannot live without and click Buy. So far, however, I have come to my senses in time, every time and closed the tab without buying.
Most of it is clothes and I so do no need any clothes not any. None none at all.
So so far, so good.
Plus. I invented a new earring back. I hate posts. They stick into my head. But, I like a tiny little earring that does not dangle. I recently got some little Mariner earrings. A tiny S for Seattle (and, of course, Susan) but they are posts. I hate posts.
I had an idea... I ordered some little rubber backs from Amazon. You get like 40 million for $3. And they just came.
I bent the post down and poked it through my ear and secured it with a little rubber back and no more head sticking!!!!
2 things.
1. I should have used something to show scale but think dime size (sorry ye of other currencies)
2. How can they NOT call these penis backs?
In other news. I'm waiting on two things. My new washer/dryer. I was the first to buy one from my appliance place. When I sent an 'update???' email to my appliance guy he said that they now had several on order and were keeping an eagel eye out. I made him promise the first one was mine. He's saying 8/21 and he'll give me the first available install date.
When I got my air conditioner, the A/C guy only ordered the wifi adapter for the living room unit. I wanted one for both units. But, backorder. He said six weeks. Actually, he said that every six weeks. However, my latest 'WTF???' email got a return of 'rumor has it, they will be in next week'!!! Without this adapter, you have to use the remote. The remote was designed by someone who ever had to use one. The UI makes no sense and the operation requires magical incantations to get right. The phone app was written for me and works great. I just need it hooked to both units.
So.Yeah.
Oh and Monday will be week 3 since I first reported to Google that my watch was dead. Their motto must be Silence is Golden.
Ok back to either Project Runway or Florida Man. Or maybe some book reading.
