susandennisLovely swim this morning. And easy commute.
Today's swim thoughts were about clothes. I have limited closet space and it's at max. But really, I need far fewer clothes, not more closet.
It took a long time to settle my fridge/freezer crowding. But, I now have that under control. I room in both places, better organization, and less food stress.
I need to do the same with my clothes. I need some harsh culling. I think I'm going to get started on that today. I already have a bag of Goodwill in the car that I need to unload before I take the car in for service - tomorrow? So I think I'll just fill another bag or two this morning and take them on over.
And get gas.
No confirmation on the car appointment and it's now nearly 10 am - so plenty of time to have gotten one. Time for email to service guy. Done.
The Mariners have a 5 game winning streak which is rare and scary. They do not play today.
The localish college football teams and changing the groups they play against. I never understood football conferences anyway and don't care about football. BUT in this age when news broadcasters and news writers are required to tell you how to feel about the news, it appears this change in who football people play against is right up there with the war on drugs, terrorism and baby killing in the pantheon of cataclysmic events.
Like I said I've never understood football conferences but omg the drama is hard to escape. And I'm working hard to whip up some outrage about this.
I found a couple of hairballs this morning just outside the bedroom. I did not hear any delivery noises so I looked at the cat cam. Julio. 3 am. Weird that it didn't wake me up.
And speaking of Julio, I did finally nab him for nail clipping. If I made any inroads into changing his mind about hating all people, I lost it all with that nab. He's so funny, though. Once I get him and settle him in for the actual clipping, he's fine. He even sticks around for some nuzzles before he bolts. But if I were to put my hand near him now, he'd be gone in a shot. Sigh.
Clearly I'm just wasting time here now. I need to get on with the closet. Now.
