I use SpamCop to filter my email. For months and months I had it set just scrub out the obvious but too much crap was getting through. Oddly enough I'm happy with the current size of my penis. So I set it to scrub out everything except email addresses that are on my white list.

I have a URL for checking it all and whitelisting what should go through and killing what shouldn't.

This morning I realized I was waiting to hear from the 'girls' at the mortgage company, the Tivo harddrive folks and a couple of others and hadn't heard a peep. Of course, they were all patiently waiting for me at SpamCop. Duh.

I think I used up a month's worth of good karma today...

Mole on head. I found the name of a guy - a dematologist who looked like a good bet. His office is get-to-able. So I figured I go there and try my luck. First of all I found it easily and there is free, easy parking. This is no small consideration. Then I walk in and the place does not look like a doctor's office - more like maybe a lawyer's office or even an accounting firm and there is no doctor smell.

Then a very nice woman asked me insurance questions without using one single insurance buzz word and determined that I had the right kind and then appologized for not being able to schedule me sooner than 2 weeks!!!

I was ready for complicated insurance questions, a grilling about my primary physician (which, of course, I do not have) and a stall of six weeks or more until anyone could see me plus attitude. Boy, was I disappointed.

Then on to the manicurist where I did not have an appointment. They took me right in and said they were so glad to see me.

Then on to the grocery store where I got all the 'card' discounts and only had to give them my telephone number - no card!!!

And I get home to find that LJ is nearly back to fixed. Life is good today!!
