For My Walking Pleasure
Sep. 21st, 2003 09:02 amI'm so lucky to have such good walking options. I have two main ones and then a fairly infinite variety of side tracks. But, this morning was the waterfront - the tourist end. I'm generally there just after 7 and there is so little going on that I can really get a good look at all of it. During the middle of the day, that same stretch is teaming with tourists and ferry riders and all kinds of action - too much to take in. But in the mornings, it's just nice and doable.
There are a series of buildings that make up the docks. Most are pretty old (by Seattle standards) and have been renovated to house restaurants and shops. This morning I walked out along side one of them to snap you a picture that is pretty representative of what I see when I do the waterfront walk.
