Bits and Bites
Feb. 20th, 2007 01:02 pmI'm pretty sure that my new health insurance company uses the same online drug place as the old one! There's a chance my stuff will just slide right on over to my new account but even if it doesn't it will be a lot easier to break in than a net new one. Nice.
I discovered last night that some fool emptied the last of the coffee into the counter cannister without so much noting on the Costco list that we needed more, much less getting more. Jake? Betty? Someone needs a time out for this. No excuse. So... I had to make a Costco run this morning. Coffee and trash bags only. It was a quickie.
Pancakes? How did I get to be nearly 58 years old before I ever heard that Fat Tuesday somehow dictates pancakes? I still don't get it. We didn't do Fat Tuesday in North Carolina in the 50's. We were way too non-episcopalian protestant. We saved it all for Easter.
My brother posted a bunch of pictures from his bit re-wedding family get together 'do' of last weekend. It's funny to see his now very large family and not really recognized one of them. I've only met 4 of the 15 that were in the group pictures. I last saw my brother about 6 years ago, and I haven't seen his wife or two children for 8 years. The reality is that I do not know my brother's family which is weird but very ok. It was nice of him to upload the photos so quickly complete with who's who.
I stopped on the way home from Costco and drove through Burger King. It's probably been 25 years since I last ate at Burger King. I think I'm ok now for another 25.
That's about it for the round up so far and I need to get back to work. I'll add this one additional photo from my brother's upload. It's cracking me up.
