I got nuthin.

This is the kind of day that makes my goal of at least one LJ entry a day at bit of a challenge.  I got nothin.  I woke up - lay in bed listening to NPR - read the paper, did a sudoku, got up, got dressed, had breakfast.

Then I did a couple hours of work work and then the mail was in but no more games.  I sent the GameFly games back on Wednesday.  I got a note on Thursday that they had sent my next game.  But it is not here yet so they get no points for the 'we sent it' email.  I sent my Netflix back on Wednesday.  I got replacements today.  GameFly ain't no Netflix.   Oh well.

I did get my replacement Visa card. 

And next on the hit parade is the kitchen floor.

The thrills never stop here.  It's just going to be that kind of day.  And that's ok with me.  It just makes a way boring LJ entry.

This just in from my brother...

We just got back into the house after having been evacuated. Fortunately no smoke in the house and no damage. We had to stay across the highway and watch all the fire trucks and fire helicopter. Boy I would have been pissed after everything and it got burned down. Thought you'd like to hear from some refugees. b

If you tell it you want it to, TiVo will record stuff it thinks you might like based on the other stuff you have recorded.  In my 'you might like this' bucket today I found Suzanne Westenhoefer: Live From the Village.  It's from a couple of years ago and it was a delightful rainy afternoon surprise find.  Towards then end there were parts that were pee-in-your-pants funny.  Thank you, TiVo.
