Today's treadmill was tough.

My gym trick is that it is the first thing I do every morning.  So I don't really think 'should I go?', I just get out of bed, brush my teeth, put on my gym clothes and go.  And my routine is pretty set - Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays = cardio - Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays = strength.

But sometimes I just don't feel like it.  Yesterday, I wasn't interested in the strength stuff but could have been ok with the treadmill.  Today, I really wasn't interested in any of it.  I hope on the treadmill and set it up and get going and then I take off my jacket and plug in my earphones and turn on my book and settle in.  After a while I glance down to see my time.  On a good day, I have done at least 10 minutes before I'm bored enough to glance down.  Today when I looked down it was about 3.

So I tried some other tricks.  Get to 17 minutes and then I can rest my hands on the rails until 20.  etc.  I managed to make it to the end but it wasn't fun.

Some days are like that.  I did realize this morning that in a couple of weeks I will have been at this for a year.  A solid year.  Who in the hell would have ever thought that?

Shower time.

I am glad it is Friday. And, it appears as if I will have no work for the weekend which will be nice. I had a lot of billed hours last month. Enough, probably, to cover the bills for my income tax and my real estate tax. So I can relax a little on the work hours which suits me fine.

The Front Door TV Network has been full of action today.

Right now someone is getting a ginormous new refrigerator.

Earlier I watched Marilyn (from my yoga class - she lives on the 5th floor) and her husband leave and come back 3 times today. This is a big deal because in January Marilyn broke her leg in a couple of places. She's in a wheelchair which he pushes and she carries a walker on her lap. It is painful to watch them navigate the front door. I figure about the time they get it figured out, she'll be on her feet again. I cringe whenever I see her. How does she manage? Even with him? Their unit is 2 stories. The bedroom and shower are upstairs! She's lucky she has him.

The other woman from the gym - don't know her name but she has a pug - got a very very very nice, fancy cubby shelf thing delivered today. I'll bet she had it made. It looked very classy.

Yeah yeah but if I don't watch who will??? God, that refrigerator is HUGE!!!

The Mariners won their Spring Training game today. 2-0 for the non-season. I'd rather they did not use up all of their wins quite yet.

Torchwood arrived today (a day earlier than Netflix said). I believe I will crack it open this evening. Someone better warn Jack.
