susandennis: (workout)
A good exercise day...  I'm up to 35 crunches.  I'm getting quite a six pack.  (Of course, I keep it protected by a nice thick layer of fat for protection.)

Not much new at the gym.  Nathan was in a very good mood which is kind of unusual.  I can usually work him into a smile but this morning he was downright peppy.

Now I need to get showered and get to work.

This will shock some. Probably I should put it behind a cut. It shocks me a little. Really.

The Tree that I Hate? I'm not hating so much this year. Seriously. In previous years its leaves were half green and half brown/yellow and shed this horrible dusty stuff. But, this year, it's very green - bordering on lush.

And... in the early mornings... it is now full enough to give me some shade. Tomorrow I'll grab a picture of it.

It still blocks my view so I cannot see if donkeys are flying and I'm far from loving the tree but I'm having a hard time holding on to the hate.

Plus today is wonderful weather wise. It's a little overcast and breezy. I can have the door open and, miracle of miracles, the pounding boys must be at an offsite. No pounding at all today. Very very nice.

While waiting for my other toy knitting books to come, [livejournal.com profile] legalmoose reminded me of Ravelry where I found lots of fun pictures.  From those pictures I got great ideas.  The orange yarn was on top of my basket and so...  we have a Goldfish!!!

Here's one shot for perspective.

Could he be any cuter????  I think I'm going to try again and go a little bigger and write down the recipe.
