Feb. 8th, 2012 09:54 amThey are pile driving again today... I'd guess I'm about 2 or 3 days away from it not bothering me at all. I'm working hard at it. It's rhythmic and loud and vibrating but not fast enough to be any fun. It's going on until April so it behooves me to work hard on blanking it out.

My CPA wants a copy of the car bill of sale and the closing statement on the house refinance. Digging them both out turned out to be a bit of an adventure. I finally found the former in the car. But, not before I cleaned out yet another drawer of the desk. I still have about 75% of that left to do before it's ready to get rid of. The house papers were a bit easier to get my hands on. But, all the papers were legal size or longer and my little letter size scanner didn't like it one bit. I tried scanning and piecing together but I could tell that was going to be an all day operation so I just mailed him the originals. There are about two dozen ways that can come back and bite me in the ass. I hope it doesn't.

My Advair inhaler costs me $40 a month. Once they decide if this is the right dosage, I'll be able to get 3 months at a time for $80. But, Murphy says if I order up 3 months now, they will change it for sure. So I'm month to month. On the up side, GlaxoSmithKline offers up a $10 coupon that you can get once a month. It's for the lower dose one so I sent them an email last night asking for a coupon for the dose I use. They said the one was good for all. So I printed everything out and will take it with me on Monday when I go in for my ultra sound (the pharmacy is in the same place) and pick up next month's inhaler.

Everyone's all over the Pininterest web service. I keep looking into it and realize that I honestly have no interest. My RSS feeds and G+ give me enough stuff to look at, read, follow, keep up with. seattlejo offered up an invitation and I couldn't remember why I wasn't interested (clearly I do not have enough to do) so I tried again. This time I remembered specifics. You can only use it if you link to your Facebook account - NFW - or twitter. I could link via Twitter but I don't like the idea.
But, then I remembered the showstopper. The username of susandennis is taken! Not acceptable. There are a whole lotta susandennis's out there but rarely do they beat me out of a website. In fact, I can't remember the last time it happened. I'll bet one of them is just shocked that they got to use the username of susandennis. Congrats, whichever one you are!

I have one computer that I kind of use as a poor man's server. It does my eye-fi uploads, and has the external drives attached, and does other stuff that I don't need to touch often. While it's working, I run a screensaver of photos I collect from here and there. The monitor faces the living room so it's like having a picture frame with constantly changing pictures. When I find a picture somewhere that I like, I add it to the mix. The other day, I added a couple of shots of the stained glass window thatearthmother45 is making for me.
This morning when I first walked into the living room, one of them was in the frame. It so makes me smile.
When the living room make over is done, by the way, that monitor as well as the other two will be mounted on that wall with the other pictures around it.

I'm waiting on a work thing and need to tidy up here and there since the housecleaner comes tomorrow. I really dread her cleaning days but love the aftermath. Sigh.
And there will be swimming today.
