Today's conundrum. I have a fancy assed (read way too expensive) nugget ice maker (opal). It has always leaked a little but now, the leaking is making me nuts. I bought it on Indigogo in 2016 and for a long time there was little or no support but now, their website says to contact them with the serial number about front leaks. So I have to find the fucking serial number. The thing is huge and weighs a ton. And, what do you bet it's alpha numeric with 1/l and 0/o's. Oh well.
But, it's not like my day is crammed with obligations. I've got lots of time.
Yesterday, I watched Coming to America. Amazon keeps telling me I need to watch the sequel but I never saw the original. Now I have. I did not mind the fluff or the silly. It was the perfect crochet movie. I did not need to pay close attention to either.
I finished the latest bit on my Crochet Along blanket.
This is what the finished blanket is supposed to look like. I did not like the blue and white checks so made some color substitutions and may make more - I'm running out of that moss green color.

I'm now caught up with all of the pattern released so far.

Then I switched from crochet to knitting and my log cabin blanket. This one is made from the leftovers of all the other things.

Yesterday, a restaurant down the street posted a photo of a plate of charcuterie. On it were cold potatoes (fingerlings). I forget how good boiled potatoes can be served cold. So that's what I had for dinner last night - cheese and crackers and olives and potatoes and salami. Pretty delicious.
I don't have any leave the house plans for today so it may well be a Walk Around The Block day. I do want to avoid extraneous trips to the grocery store because I do not want to fall back into the habit of a 'fridge/freezer full of food but not exactly what I want'. I enjoyed the discipline of once a month or half month groceries and I want to stick to that as much as possible. Yesterday's trip to Grocery Outlet was an excellent case of Did Not Need That.
Tonight is the first Home Owners Board meeting with the new board president. Should be interesting.
Biggie will be two years old on Wednesday.
