A personal best!

My bed says I slept great last night. (And Fitbit agrees and so do I!)

Normally on game nights, I leave the game on and go to sleep. Alexa turns off the TV later, if I don't. But, last night the game was so bad and we were playing so poorly. Earlier in the day, a bunch of relief pitchers were put on the injured list because of positive COVID tests so late in the game was going to be worse, not better. So I just turned it off. This morning shows that the final score was San Diego 16, Mariners 1. Pitiful. I'm also very annoyed/disappointed. The majority of the Mariner players and coaches are refusing vaccines. A bunch of other teams are vaccinated to the point that they no longer require masks. But, the Mariners? In addition to being the only MLB team to NEVER reach the World Series and continually suck year after year, they also are, apparently vying for The Most Stupid. It really does piss me off.

Only today did the NY Times move us (King Coundty) from Very High Risk to High Risk. We still have a mask mandate around here. I wear one whenever I open my front door. And I will continue. I told someone the other day that I will continue to wear one more out of respect for others than any protection. And I truly don't mind. But, I sure don't want anyone to think that I have not been vaccinated and that's why I wear it. hmmmm I need an I've Been Vaccinated button.

My foot cut my treadmill time to 20 minutes again this morning. Dr. LJ (well, a couple of LJ friends) are pointing to plantar faciitis which I much prefer calling plantar fashionista. It does not feel like the planta fasionista that I have had before but even so, I'm beginning to think they are correct in their diagnosis. I do a whole lot of cross legged sitting and the one foot that is the problem always ends up with toe pointed and heel squished for long hours of the day. That's gotta be it.

So today, we start sitting differently. Tonight we sleep with that dumb brace. Tomorrow, we take a day off from the treadmill. Monday it will be fixed. That's the plan anyway.

Not too many other plans for today. Robby has already sucked up the carpet all over this morning. It does amaze me how much crap ends up in his bin after just two days of not vacuuming. Biggie and I are dirty dirty beings!

I am working on my crochet sweater and also working on clearing the programs off TiVo in case it dies. I'm fairly sure that the latest issues are back end issues but on the outside chance I am wrong, I figure I should go ahead and watch what I've recorded just in case.
