Twenty first day of September

Biggie is back to sleeping with me again and he's now taking credit for my high sleep scores. 95's and 96's out of 100. I'm not sure he should get credit but, whatever. I'm grateful for excellent sleeps.

Ohhhh Goodwill is having a 30% off flash sale - all linens. I do not need more fabric. I do not need more fabric. I do not need more fabric. I do not need more fabric.

FedEx says my recliner is being delivered today. I'm in a believe it when I see it mode. But, I am ready.

I do need to find a new book. While I appreciate a good accent - particularly Scottish or Irish, the reader of the new Denise Mina book is just too much. I have to run captions so I'm reading as she's talking and even then can't keep up. The story didn't grab me enough for that kind of action. So... time to move on to the next one. I just need to find that next one.

We have a couple of days, today being one, where the high temps are back in the 70's. Unacceptable. Yes, laugh, you people who live where 70's is chilly. If I wanted that kind of hot weather, I'd move. My sweet spot is anything below 70 degrees. At least my thermometer here next to my chair is still showing a very reasonable 70 degrees.

I need to get out and do my parking lot walk before the heat and before FedEx gets here. But, leaving here and heading across goes right into the sun this time of day. So, I think I'm going to walk around the block instead. I can do that mostly in the shade which is way better.

Nothing else much of note around here at least so far today. But, heck, it's early yet!

AWWWWW

The Mariners have bring your dog nights a couple of times every season but this year was the first time I'd seen this. I did not capture it, I just enjoyed but someone got a good video of it. Awwwww.

I don't hate it

It's here. Finally. One big ole heavy box. A lovely woman from one of the 3rd floor units helped me get it up here. Good thing, too, because I would have never been able to do it on my own.



Getting out the box was a bit of a thing but I did it. Then it's just screw the feet on and slap on the back.

It's actually the right size for me and for the room. And a good starter recliner. It goes all the way flat but I don't know why I would ever want to stare at the cam lights. It's a little lower than the other chair so harder to get out of but good exercise. It actually is a nice color and one that works with the blue chair which probably I will get rid of.

It's actually exactly worth the money I paid for it.



And now I will be able to better judge what I want in a better one.

And thus ends the LOOOOOONG Wait For The Recliner.

Now I need to take this cardboard and dolly down to the garage.


I'm not unhappy.
