Wednesday

Biggie had a good night. I don't know how long it will last but I'm loving this snuggle phase. He's really not using his right paw when he walks but, other than that, he seems very fine. He sometimes just rests it on the ground and sometimes uses it but mostly not. He ate every single bit of his breakfast which is so unusual, I gave him a second one to which he said 'no way'. Ha! Then he hopped up on to the couch and into his bubble bed where he is now peacefully snoring.

Both paws look better every day. He's letting me examine them both now so clearly they aren't hurting him or not that much. I did manage to get a short video to send to Dr. Moore.I don't imagine that there is much she can do but I figure it was worth an update.

The house cleaner's last day is today. While she's here, I won't be. I'm going to pick up ljtourist and we're going shopping! First to Goodwill and then to Costco. Hopefully by the time we're done, she will be, too.

I'm going to start scheduling my own house cleaning and laundry. Different days for different rooms. I'm going to start with a list and then make a plan.

gracegiver sent me to Years and Years on HBO and I watched the first episode yesterday. It's a wow. Lots to chew on. I'm already bummed that there are only 6 episodes.

Holy full day, Batman!!

Since I generally do nothing, having a day of more than a few somethings is wild. Frank and I had an extremely productive shopping trip. We could have fit more into my Smart Car but not a whole lot more.

I may need to go back to Costco but that's fine. They still have old people hours on Tuesday and Thursday so I can shop sans crowds.

At Goodwill I found a second excellent cookie jar and a very adorable kitty food dish.

The house cleaner came and cleaned and left the keys to my place on the kitchen counter. Yeah! It's the last time I will be peeved that she didn't dust the hall credenza or put the trash bag in right. It's a real relief, actually.

Biggie came out of his bubble when I got home and came to say hi and had a little lunch then he got into his tree!



When he walks more than a handful of steps, he does use his right paw. So if he goes from the living room down to the litter box, he'll limp along and use it but otherwise, nope. He just uses 3 feet. It's weird. But, it does not seem to be getting in his way. I went down to the garage to drop off a package and when I came back he was at the front door and I nearly tripped over him. He had no trouble getting into the cat tree. He hops up onto the sofa.

I just don't know what to think. If he never uses it again and it just dangles but he can get everywhere he wants and do what he wants to do pain free then I guess that's the way it will be.

Now he's back in his bubble resting. I think I'm going to watch a little TV.
