if it's Saturday
Nov. 13th, 2021 09:09 amit's laundry day! and bed linen changing day and today it will also be whole foods day. i'm out of orange juice. and the traffic shouldn't be too bad.
i made a batch of breakfast burritos yesterday and had one this morning and damn! this batch is a winner. i have 7 more. i'm burrito rich!
it's not raining and the thermometer says it's only 51 on the terrace but it's actually warm enough to have the door open. Biggie's been investigating the situation. I want him to hear the outside noises and get used to not going out there so this morning is perfect for that. He's been over to the door a few times to check it out. When I go out there, he cries to do but does not try to breach. So far, so good.
it's a quiet weekend in the hood. there's a car show at the exhibition center but i cannot believe it's going to draw huge crowds. no home football games til next weekend.
Our COVID numbers are still going down but we are still at a level that is twice what it was last July. On the up side, I rarely see anyone without both nose and mouth covered these days which is comforting. There's an outdoor flea/street market down the road that I'd kind of wouldn't mind checking out but it's just more of a risk than I feel like I want to take plus think of the money I will save!
So I'll stick to Whole Foods and home. Not a burden by any means.
