My MWF walks are working out so far. The trip to Costco was good. Hard, but fine. I did get the bark. Self checkout with 1 item was fast and easy. Everyone else there (and there were a lot of them) were buying multiples of everything. Watching Costco carts is always a trip.
I still would rather be home doing nothing but I need to move and this is a good way to make sure it happens. I may be using Tuesdays and Thursdays for things like Trader Joes and other groceries.
The other day a woman who lives down the hall was parking her gynormous SUV and muttering about having the 'worst parking space on earth'. I thought about that for a couple of days and today put a note on her windshield explaining where my parking spot is and offering to trade. My spot is bigger and has much easier access/egress. It is one floor down from theirs. I'd be delighted if they take me up on it.
I made sauted cheerios for dinner. YUM. (Over med high heat, melt butter and then add cheerios and salt and stir until the cheerios start to brown a little.) They are good worm and just as good when they cool off.
Tyler (the financial adviser) is going to go visit with the CPA that Gordon is recommending. Whew. So whatever Tyler tells me to do, I'll do. I'm so lucky to have such a good advisor.
The
fancy space age bandage I put on this morning has done wonders already. It's stayed on and kept the irritation at bay. You are supposed to leave it on until it comes off on its own. Fine by me! I'm delighted to have a pain free day without worrying about the damn thing.
Biggie is trying to get into trouble. He keeps sitting by his bowl like he wants food but there is still some of his favorite food in the bowl. So now he's just wandering around looking for stuff to knock off the table or pens to chew. Time to turn one of his toys on, I think.
