On the one hand... but then on the other
Apr. 28th, 2012 10:06 pmSo the handyman cancelled on me which really pissed me off more than it should have. And then that fact alone annoyed the hell out of me. It's no wonder I'm not fit to live with anybody.
But on the other hand, it tickles me that I can sit here on a Saturday night and find other handymen, vet them, send inquiries and already hear back from one - efficiently responding on his cellphone that isn't even an iPhone. Nice. And he's coming next week.
Turns out I'm actually glad cause I'd like to have another handyman in my pocket, so to speak.
I was all set for a fast brunch in the morning and now I don't have to but the ballgame does start at 10 so maybe it wouldn't be bad to get out, get et and get home.
Now I am going to bed.
