susandennisToday, before I come back home, I need to get cash and gas. I don't know why it is so hard for me to get gas into the car. I never think of it until I am in my garage where there is not one single gas pump. I guess part of the reason is there is no good gas station near here. There are a couple not too far but one is impossible to do business with and the other is scary.
There are plenty between here and the pool and between the pool and brunch. I just need to remember to stop at one!
I woke up early this morning - helped by cats. I turned on the radio and listened to NPR while I dozed. One very appreciated feature of my internet radio is that the alarm keeps its volume regardless and turns on at the appointed time. So I can turn on the radio and turn the volume down and, then, at the time I set, the volume will go up enough to catch my attention in cased I'm snoozing. It's kind of like a reverse snooze alarm and I love it.
I don't have a lot of other errands or stuff I want or need to do today after brunch so I'll likely just come on home and watch the ballgame and putter around and enjoy the weekend.
I will be so glad when May 22nd comes. I am so ready to get this thing out of my eye and be able to see again. I feel like my nose is going to get a scab on it from holding stuff up so close so I can see it without my glasses because I'm too lazy to get up and hunt them down. I'm going to be very disappointed if on May 23rd I wake up and still need them!
