The cataract news is mainly good. Apparently, a cataract has to be a certain stage to come out and that stage just might not correlate to my insurance deductible. Sigh.
But the real good news is that the whole shebang, including the initial visit/total eye exam can be called pre-cataract surgery visit and so charged to my medical insurance and not my vision insurance. So, I don't have to wait until May.
She only does cataracts on Tuesdays - specifically every other Tuesday.
There will be two visits before surgery.
One the day after.
3 weeks - no doing anything much and no swimming. (this just sucks)
So, the first thing to do is make an appointment for the exam evaluation.
I was going to do that today but, I decided to wait. I want to make sure my cute doctor is fine with it. I'm sure he will be fine with it but I figure since I'm going anyway, I'll ask him first.
Also neighbor Ann is in mad love with the place where she had hers done. So I might go there or at least call and inquire.

Ann came by today. Their phone and internet was out from last Wednesday until today when they got a new, replacement modem. They hooked it up and all was back working again.
Meanwhile, they got a cellphone. She said they were going to the Verizon store when they passed an AT&T store and decided to investigate. The woman there sold them the perfect phone and plan for them. Simple, cheap and perfect.
She brought the phone to me to make sure she knew how to turn it off for movies.
Nothing was said about my upbrading of her husband. She did note that the customer support person who finally figured out they needed a new modem was in the Philippines. She didn't say anything more about it and neither did I.

I got a pile of work today which is quite nice. I'm pretty sure I can finish it off tomorrow.
